Enacted on December 14, 2022, as Regulation (EU) 2022/2554, DORA mandates that financial entities ensure their ability to withstand, respond to, and recover from all types of ICT-related incidents, risks, and threats. This regulation aims to harmonize ICT risk management across the EU, ensuring consistency and coherence. DORA requires adherence to the principle of proportionality, taking into account the size, risk profile, and complexity of financial operations.
